Xfinity Internet Customer Reviews

Negative reviews mention frequent outages in certain areas and poor customer service.

Here's what Fatim has to say:

"The internet is not reliable most of the time and highly overpriced. When I called customer service for any billing issues, the only thing they are interested in is to get people into new contracts. Let say if you are being charged for a service you don't use and you call for explanation, they will just get you into new contract instead of just fixing the issue you have." (From Consumer Affairs)

But their customers also praise them for their reliability and customer service in general.

Check out what Barbara has to say:

"I realize XFinity (Comcast) is often criticized. However, I have found them to be very responsive to an alert from me about an outage. First, they will identify if there is trouble in the area and, if so, when the problem with be resolved, or they will provide relatively easy automated instructions that I may use to get things up and rolling again if the issue is just at my house, and, finally. Xfinity will call back to establish that the issue in the area has been resolved and that we are back online or make sure the boosted signal they sent to our unit brought us back into service." (From Consumer Affairs)

If you want to cancel due to any of the reasons below, try these solutions first:

Xfinity lets you move your services to a new address.

    7. Check the summary of your move information.
    8. Click Review/Consent to accept the terms of transfer.
    9. Click "View All" in the summary section to confirm the equipment being transferred.

  • Poor service
Try troubleshooting before canceling because of unsatisfactory service. Check out Xfinity's support page to see common ways to troubleshoot your internet.

  • You'll be away from home for a while
