Scholarships & Grants

Many organizations, nonprofits, and companies offer scholarships and grants to women interested in sciences, mathematics, technology, and engineering. Check the list below to take your education to the next level.

• American Society of Mechanical Engineers: ASME provides scholarships for student in pursuing an educational program in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  
• Davidson Institute: Davidson Institute provides Davidson Fellows Scholarship for gifted and high-achieving students, 18 years old or under, who have completed a significant piece of work (categories: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature, Music, Philosophy and Outside the Box).
  
• Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS: Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS Science Scholarship will be awarding $1,200 to help deserving graduating high school students who will pursue science fields.

• University of Rhode Island: University of Rhode Island provides Buick Achievers Scholarship Program for high school seniors and undergraduate students planning to major in an area of Engineering/Technology or select Design and Business-related programs and interested in pursuing a career in the automotive or related industries.

• Center for Women In Technology: CWIT provides merit-based scholarship program for talented undergraduates majoring in computer science, information systems, business technology administration (with a technical focus), computer engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical/biochemical/environmental engineering, or a related program at UMBC.
  
• ND Space Grant Consortium: Lillian Goettler Space Grant Award is offered for a female student at North Dakota State University who will be involved in a research project of NASA relevance.
  
• ND Space Grant Consortium: Pearl I. Young Space Grant Award is granted for female student at the University of North Dakota who will be involved in a research project of NASA relevance.
  
• Society of Women Engineers: Society of Women Engineers - Lehigh Valley Scholarship Program is granted for female graduating high school students who will pursue ABET accredited engineering program and resides in over 20 counties in Pennsylvania.
  
• Henry Luce Foundation: Clare Boothe Luce Program awards grants in three categories: undergraduate awards, fellowships, and professorships.
  
• ACS Chemistry for Life: Priscilla Carney Jones Scholarship provides scholarships for female undergraduate majors in chemistry or related disciplines who are beginning their junior or senior years of study.
  
• ACS Chemistry for Life: ACS Women Chemists Committee (WCC) and Eli Lilly and Company sponsor a program to provide funding for undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral female chemists to travel to meetings to present the results of their research.
  
• Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation: MCWT provides scholarships to women who have the interest, aptitude and potential for a successful career in computer science.
  
• Alpha Omega Epsilon National Foundation: AOE awards scholarships in varying amounts to women who promote engineering and technical science.
  
• AFCEA Educational Foundation: AFCEA provides Ralph W. Shrader Graduate Diversity Scholarship for full-time students (women and minority students), enrolled in their second semester and at least two semester-equivalent courses currently pursuing a graduate degree at any accredited academic institution in the United States.

• SNC Lavalin: Atkins Women and Minorities STEM Scholarship is awarded for students who pursue baccalaureate degree in science, technology, engineering or math.
  
• CNY STEM: CNY STEM Scholarship program provides three scholarships of $5,000 per year for 4 years (two scholarships will be focused on minority and female applicants) to undergraduate students who will study Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
