DISH TV
DISH TV is a popular satellite TV provider in the US. While it is satellite TV, there are ways for you to watch DISH's content online.
For example, subscribers can use the DISH Anywhere app to stream their shows. The app lets you stream DISH's content to your tablet, smartphone, laptop or desktop computer. You can even watch recorded programs from your DVR!
The mobile app is free for DISH subscribers, so you won't have to pay a thing.
Also, DISH has plenty of Bollywood content to offer. It has a special add-on package called the Hindi: Movie Pack, which features dedicated Bollywood channels. It has channels like Movies OK, SET Max, Rishtey Cineplex, B4U Movies, and Zee Cinema.
However, you'll have to get a base English package before you can get the Hindi add-on.
ONLINE TV PROVIDERS
If you truly want to cut the cord, there are online TV providers too. Here are some providers you may want to consider.
SLING TV
Sling TV also offers Bollywood films through their live Hindi channels. They offer three Hindi packages:

- Hindi Gold (90 channels)
You can choose to pay for your package every month, every three months, and annually.
For those looking for Bollywood films, you can find dedicated Hindi movie channels in their packages. These include B4U Movies, Movies OK, Zee Cinema, Rishtey Cineplex, and many others. You'll have to check which package offers which channels.
The app is available for most smart devices. You can watch Bollywood films from the comfort of your TV at home, or from your smartphone on the train to work.
The great thing about Sling TV is that there's no contract. You can start and stop anytime. Coupled with Sling TV's low monthly fees, it's one of the cheaper options on this list.
NETFLIX
Netflix is one of the most popular online TV providers today. They have a huge library of shows on-demand, including Bollywood films as well.
You'll find titles like Dangal, Judwaa 2, Dear Zindagi, and many others. Netflix also constantly updates its library, so you can expect this list to grow in the future.
Netflix works on almost every smart device out there. This includes gaming consoles, smart TVs, streaming devices, and every iOS and Android mobile phones.
The biggest downside? Netflix doesn't feature the latest films. If you want to stay updated with the latest in Bollywood, then Netflix isn't for you. But, if you're the type to binge on classic films, then Netflix is perfect.
AMAZON PRIME
Amazon Prime is also a good choice to stream Bollywood films. Simply search for the movie you want, and purchase it. The movie will be added to your video library, and you can stream it anytime.
Alternatively, you could also purchase an Amazon Prime membership. This lets you watch certain movies and shows for free, until your membership expires. You can browse to see which movies/shows are offered for free with Amazon Prime before subscribing.
You can stream the Amazon Video on almost every smart device. This includes smart TVs, set-top boxes, gaming consoles, smartphones, tablets, as well as on your PC and laptop.
HOTSTAR (US)
Hotstar is similar to Netflix. It streams live sports, Indian TV shows, and movies. They have commercial-free content in eight Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
For movie lovers, there's plenty of Bollywood films. You can find titles like Baadshaho, Aksar, Kabali, and many others.
Like Netflix, Hotstar doesn't have packages. You pay for a premium membership, which gives you access to all their content. There's an option for a discounted yearly plan if you want sports content. Otherwise, they offer a monthly plan for just the entertainment channels.
YUPP TV
YuppTV is also a streaming TV service, like Sling TV. You'll need a subscription to access their content.
The great thing about YuppTV is that it specializes in Indian-language programming. It has packages for Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Punjabi, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and many others. Simply choose the language you'd like, and then choose a subscription package.
Like Sling TV, it has no contract - users can choose to pay monthly, half-yearly, or annually.
For Hindi films, YuppTV offers several movie channels. You can find channels like:
- Rishtey Cineplex
- B4U Movies
- UTV Movies
Yupp also has their own movie channels. YuppTV New Movies and YuppTV Classic Movies.
YuppTV has no DVR feature, but they do provide a "Catchup TV" feature, which allows you to catch up watching any show or program for up to 10 days.
However, one downside of YuppTV is that it only allows for one stream at a time. You can "unlock" more streams on different devices, but you'll have to pay an additional monthly fee for it.
MY INDIAN TV
MY INDIAN TV is an internet-based TV service, like YuppTV. They also specialize in Indian-language programming.
They have packages which feature Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi. They also have premium packages, which involve a variety of shows in Hindi and Punjabi.
For Bollywood channels, they have Movies OK, Zee Cinema, B4U Movies, and many others.
They have more than 20 packages to choose from, each with different combinations of channels and payment schedules. There's no contract, and you can start and stop anytime.
They only allow one device per account, but if you have a MAG Box, you can use that with a web/Android/Kodi session at the same time.
BOX TV
BoxTV is a Hindi movie streaming site that offers Bollywood films for free. They also have movies from Tollywood (Telugu) and Hollywood as well.
It also has TV shows and short films that you can stream on your smartphone, PC, tablet, and Roku. Most of the content on BoxTV is free but supported by ads. For other premium content, you would have to pay a small monthly fee.
The downside is that BoxTV doesn't feature the latest films. Like Netflix, it's a good choice if you just enjoy watching old movies.
BOTTOM LINE
Plenty of providers offer Bollywood films online. Choosing the right provider depends on what you want. Just want to watch a few titles? The it's best to go with Netflix, Amazon Prime, or BoxTV. You can browse the selection before subscribing to the service.
On the other hand, if you prefer continuous streaming of Bollywood films, then it's better to get a subscription for a live movie channel. Sling TV, DISH, and YuppTV have dedicated channels that continuously broadcast Bollywood films.
